I went to a Chinese New Year dancing show with my Mom. I saw lots of dancers and some Chinese opera. The dancers put cups on top of their heads while they danced. Some people used huge fans while they danced. They were called fan dancers. There were dragon drummers. They pounded on drums to sound like a dragon. I loved it!

Hi Ian, This is Auntie Sheila. Thanks for sharing all your great adventures. It's so nice to see that you're so interested in nature. Yesterday I took your cousins Emma and Hilary to see a barn swallow nest where a mommy was feeding her young. It was really cool. Then we discovered an Eastern Kingbird sitting on her nest. Hilary was actually more interested in throwing rocks in the pond. We are going to go back to see if her eggs have hatched. I wish I could have seen the Chinese dancing. It looked wonderful and very colorful. I did go to your cousins Rachel and Jessica's dance recital however and they were truly beautiful and wonderful!
