I had my birthday party at the nature center. I liked seeing all the turtles and going on a hike outside. We saw fox poop and bird and squirrel nests. I saw a few birds: woodpeckers, chickadees, and nuthatches. We all made birdfeeders. Then we had a pinata. We ate cake and opened presents. Last we got to take out two turtles and touch them!

Hi, Ian. My name is Lissa. I worked with your Mom when she lived in Connecticut. I enjoyed reading about your birthday party. I have a red-headed woodpecker in my backyard who chirps when I walk by. I think he is saying hello!
